This large Suzani, originally a bedspread, combines the nurata field design of flowering shrubs with an unusual, single stripe border, in which red circular flowers alternate with light blue, calyx-shaped motifs. Generous in design, with lovingly executed details and very beautiful, mellow colours, this Suzani from Bokhara is a masterpiece of its kind. – Several minor holes and stains, slight signs of wear, good overall condition.
